Sheetza is a designer based in Brooklyn, NY and Toronto, ON.

Sheetza McGarry is an architrctural designer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Following a background in visual arts, she obtained her M.ARCH from Parsons School of Design and an HBA in Architectural Studies with a Specialist in Design and a Minor in Anthropology from the University of Toronto. Her practice is focused on “assemblies of care” from physical spaces to community organization.

Outside of her personal practice, she works as an architectural designer and researcher in affordable housing, high-end residential, retail, and exhibition spaces. She believes that design practice should be collaborative to develop projects that actively care for and heal the complex and vital realities of structural vulnerabilities.
