LINEAGES (2017)

Both a physical and conceptual representation of my childhood, this timeline displays my life solely through significant moments, fragmented into film strips. This installation questions the fragility of time by juxtaposing the industrial mass and lighting with the delicacy of the film and tenderness of the captured moments. This piece creates a vulnerability by altering the context of the typically safe and protected film into an exposed, lit, and interactive installation.
