WABI SABI (2016)

This installation challenges the singularity of human interaction with its interactive element of a distance sensor. Isolated in a simple space, the light glows brighter from a corner as the viewer moves through the space and towards a window of used recycled glasses. This simple interaction with the minimalistic line conveys the importance of awareness of each other's interactions. The corner placement of the line integrates the space’s architecture, creating a sense of comfort by wholly connecting audience to the space, juxtaposed with the cold, solidarity of technology.
